Christ Church Cathedral, Fredericton
(4.6/5 based on 50+ reviews on the web)
Christ Church Cathedral is the mother church of the Anglican Diocese of Fredericton. The Cathedral is located towards the east end of downtown Fredericton on the corner of Brunswick Street and Church Street, and is a prominent feature on the city's skyline.

Children are especially welcome at all services at the Cathedral. There is a carpeted play area near the entrance and two convenient washrooms with diaper stations. The Nursery and Sunday School are active every Sunday during the school year (Sept - June) at the 10:00 A.M. service. Children who come with their parents to church at 10:00 enjoy a special Children's Focus moment early in the service before leaving for Sunday School in the Memorial Hall.

  • My husband and I walked past the church at night on our way to dinner and were taken by the beauty of this church lit up after dark
  • A beautiful cathedral in a lovely setting in a charming city...well worth a visit if it's a bit of culture and history that you seek!
  • We attended Sunday worship here in September 2016. The P/A system was good and everything could be heard; music from the amateur choir was well presented. There was a full church the day we were there...  more »
