Visit rescued animals at North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre, a refuge set within a tranquil forestlike setting. Recuperating black bears, owls, falcons, eagles, and ravens, among other creatures, all populate the area the plan of being eventually reintegrated into the wild.   • A very cool mix of taxidermy animal displays, live bears, bald eagles, bunnies, stone sculptures, caves, peaceful gardens, knowledgable staff, and more. Admission was less than 30 bucks for a family.
