Nature / Park
Visit Englishman River Falls Provincial Park, home to two waterfalls which cascade along the descending riverbed into a deep canyon. A lush old-growth forest of Douglas fir, maple, cedar, and hemlock trees characterize the park, which offers camping and picnic areas. Short hiking trails meander through the forest and along the river, allowing access to both the upper and lower falls; the lower falls end in a deep, crystal-clear pool. Experience the view from two bridges where the river plunges into the narrow rock canyon below. Put Englishman River Falls Provincial Park into our Errington vacation generator and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • Englishman River Falls rates as a 5 for me. Englishmand Falls is near Coombs, BC. The falls has a massive amount of water flowing over a wide rock ledge. As it tumbles, the water is forced into a narr...  more »
  • This is a beautiful easy loop hike less than a mile and you will see two waterfalls. Water is crystal clear and the trees are beautiful. I would recommend this hike for everyone young and old.  more »
  • We drove from Nanaimo to the Falls which is about a 45 minute drive but it was well worth it. The Hike was relatively short but the scenery and the falls itself was amazing. Couple friends and I found...  more »

  • We visited during the spring and the scenery was very beautiful. There are multiple trails to walk around, all pretty flat and easy to walk. There are a couple bridges going over the river and falls. It's a lovely place to explore!
  • Trails run alongside the river from above the falls to the pools below ... simply awesome! Watching the river drop down into the rock crevice, from the bridge above, will mesmerize you ... stay awhile!
  • Beautiful scenery. Impressive waterfall. Gentle, well surfaced walk suitable for pushchairs with large wheels.
  • Quick walk to the falls. You can easily get up close to the waterfall if you are adventurous enough.
  • Nice campsites in the woods near some cool falls and decent mountain bike trails.
