Must see · Park · Nature / Park
Visit Englishman River Falls Provincial Park, home to two waterfalls which cascade along the descending riverbed into a deep canyon. A lush old-growth forest of Douglas fir, maple, cedar, and hemlock trees characterize the park, which offers camping and picnic areas. Short hiking trails meander through the forest and along the river, allowing access to both the upper and lower falls; the lower falls end in a deep, crystal-clear pool. Experience the view from two bridges where the river plunges into the narrow rock canyon below. • This is a very nice and well maintained provincial park. We went on a cloudy cool day and completed the trail in approximately 25 minutes, and stopped to play in the river. Next time we'll bring...  more »
  • Great green space in this park, about 9km from the route to Coombs. Good spacing between sites, and almost all sites have some sun and privacy. Live-in hosts nest park entrance do a great job of...  more »
  • A pleasant enough hike, easy for people with decent mobility and fitness, but not suitable for people who are unsure on their feet/strollers/wheelchairs etc, though they could access the upper falls.....  more »
  • Very nice park, cool waterfall. Didn't go walking too much but the immediate area with the picnic benches were nice.
  • Nice walk for a family outing. Really peacefull walking through the trees. Great views of the falls along the bridges. Highly recommend a visit there.
  • Definietly one to see if you are near by. Don't plan to spend here just 5- 10 minutes as this place deserves a bit more time giving back many spectacular and breathtaking views. Quite a few trails to go through plus quite big rest area to eat lunch with your family. Place very well maintained.
  • Photos taken one day after the big winds. Gate was closed for driving into the park, so we walked on the road to the trail to the falls. Quite a few people in there, surprisingly. Adventurous as I am, I think they should have closed this park.
  • Soooooo worth the trip here. Just stunning beautiful views all over the park. The bridge views are breathtaking to say the least. Took a couple families here and from old to young we all had a great time. Some of the hills were a bit steep but doable for the little ones. We took a dip and a tin of pics and had an amazing day looking at the waterfalls and taking in this great country and province.
