  • We just finished a week of tent camping at Mississagi, the weather was perfect and the bugs were not bad at all. We were wanting a walk in site but #1 and #4 were already occupied so we opted for a qu...  more »

  • I have the best time there each and everytime I go its new memories . I recommend camping out there its beautiful and the staff members are friendly and helpful
  • The BEST camping experience I've had! Park is incredibly clean and well maintained including washrooms that even include a sink. No reception on your cellphones which in my opinion was great! Had deer on our site early in the morning. Frogs were super loud but if your a deep sleeper you'll have no problems! The views are incredible. Park staff are friendly and welcoming. You may miss the enterence into the park so keep an eye out for the signs. I definitely reccomend this campground or even as a day visit!
  • everything is good only problem is no shower and washroom is not Canadian stander short of staff but park is good no cell phone network totley neutral feel

The Semiwhite lake is a habitat for bullfrogs among other species, and the bullfrogs are very active singing their loud songs from sunset until sunrise... There are mostly locals from nearby Elliot Lake who camp/RV in the park; some have motorboats go fishing around 4 am. Because of the above, be prepared for noisy night hours or bring earplugs. The staff is friendly, and the store sells ice, ice cream, soft drinks and fire wood...
  • Great wilderness experience.
