3.7/5 based on 900+ reviews on the web
Slip and slide the day away at World Waterpark, the second largest indoor water park in the world, and a great day out for the whole family. Try one of the 11 water slides, each ranging in intensity from "beginner" to "extreme," the latter of which includes a "loop de loop." Try your hand at the park's surf simulator, where you can take lessons and learn to ride the waves indoors. Expect to pay an entrance fee even if you’re just watching your kids, and bear in mind that the park can get very busy, so consider a midweek visit. • Great day to spend with the family especially when it's not so nice outside. The only thing I'd say is pack your own food/drinks. The prices are not family budget friendly.. especially for what you ge...  read more »
  • I enjoy renting a cabana and spending the day with a big group swimming and having great time at the mall. You can get your hand stamped and leave and come back.
  • Way too pricey for what you get. The area is not very clean and the staff are very grumpy and hate their jobs you can see it on their faces. You are unable to get healthy options for food while inside...  read more »
  • Horrible experience. World Waterpark at West Edmonton Mall had been getting worse. First the rusty old slides and shower heads. Now the prices. It's ridiculous! They charge you by height now. As well as prices went up by at least $15 dollars. Not to mention the price increase in the small and large lockers. What is this? It cost 4 people, all similar heights, more than $190. This is a rip off especially at the economy's low time. They also took out family prices and promotions. I was here 3 months before this weekday vacation. Prices were low back then. Now it's too much. Why would you jack up the price. It's not worth it. This is the worst decision of WEM. To me this is worst way to bring in customers. WEM Waterpark is meant for family fun and for relaxation. Now it's a way for people to lose money. Not to mention that employees are rude and not enforcing the rules. I see people wearing inappropriate swimming apparel and pouring disgusting body fluids into the pools. What kind of employees let people do that. Moreover the wave pool was worse than before. It's always overcrowded since the pool is small. This makes it difficult for you to swim. Since the pool is small, people would always jump on you or push you off your floating device. The lifeguards don't care if you get hurt. They will only help you at the last minute. Besides the people the pool is very outdated and is very dirty. The water is constantly never clean as well as filled with body fluids. The bottomed of the pool is filled with some miscellaneous stuff and cracks. The food now is still OK but the prices had been jacked up. Again WEM Waterpark is just ripping people off. Now about the slides. The slides have been the same. Now I notice that structural damage, that's scary if you notice it. Also I see so many people cut in line. Again employees don't care. If you ever want to go to this miserable place, bring a lot of cash and a lower expectation. You rather go to the United States for a Waterpark. For example Silverwood in Idaho. They are much cleaner and cheaper. Even though the American dollar is higher, it's more cheaper than WEM Waterpark. Silverwood has better good, we'll kept wave pools, and much more slides. The employees are much more nicer and better rule enforcers. This would be my last trip to WEM Waterpark.
  • Freezing cold water on the playground, and cold air temperature, my 4 kids (ages 2-10) and I literally shivered the entire day unless we were in the hot tub. The place is so run down and falling apart, and it's definitely not worth the prices. Save your money and do something else with your kids. I spoke with the manager and they're completely justified in the cold water temperatures and the cold air. And I'm pretty sure anyone giving 5 stars is stupid
  • A great waterpark, the wavepool is the best I've been to, and I never get bored of it after three visits. Despite being scared of most of the slides, I still had a lot of fun! This waterpark is fun for everyone!
  • I haven't gone in years and when I went this last weekend I was thoroughly disgusted! The prices are insane. For myself and 3 others it was around 190$. There is no family pricing or special pricing for children, it is all done by height. The lockers are a joke. They are called large and medium, but the 'medium' is barely a small locker and they are 6$. The 'larger' ones, which are really a true medium size, are 12$. The locker rooms are also very chilly when you are soaked from the pool. My younger sister's lips turned blue at one point. The inner tubes which you really want to have in the wave pool are 5.25$ each, which is way to much for what you get since most of them are semi deflated. The food is overpriced and overrated. They rides are merely ok. They now have free drinks with the entrance fee, but that is really a joke. Sure there are lots of flavours to chose from and you can mix them, but you need to drink a ton of pop, ride everything at least 3 times, and stay from opening to close to even slightly make a hint of your moneys worth. This is just a money making tourist trap. As a local Edmontonian I am never going again!
  • The price is not worth it. Overpopulated with very expensive lockers.. $8 for a small and $12 for a big one. The Waterslide Patrol employees were mainly unhelpful. I had issues with the new board slide and no one could help me out, told me just to keep on playing in a very rude tone. The male staff seemed much more helpful and polite. The free drinks were much appreciated. Main issue was that the water patrols were uneducated about the slides they were patrolling. The shower water in the locker/changing rooms was getting colder after 3 seconds, which made it hard to shower.
