(1,000+ reviews on the web)
Water Park Theme Park
Slip and slide the day away at World Waterpark, the second largest indoor water park in the world, and a great day out for the whole family. Try one of the 11 water slides, each ranging in intensity from "beginner" to "extreme," the latter of which includes a "loop de loop." Try your hand at the park's surf simulator, where you can take lessons and learn to ride the waves indoors. Expect to pay an entrance fee even if you’re just watching your kids, and bear in mind that the park can get very busy, so consider a midweek visit. • Even with lots of people the pools appeared fairly clean. Not overwhelming with chemicals. The slides are good, though some of the seems can be rough.  more »
  • This waterpark is easily one of the best anywhere. Although it's showing its age, World Waterpark has some of the most thrilling slides around. In fact, three slides here have had to be replaced over ...  more »
  • This attraction will cost you a pretty penny or nickle I suppose but it is worth it. If you live in Edmonton I would say this is over rated, if you are visiting WestEd then this is a major attraction ...  more »

  • Was good overall the price isn't bad it you look for a deal (birthday party, choice pass, last 3 hours) and most of the slides were working the locker was $12 but we fit the stuff for 7 people in there so very worth what we paid. My biggest complaint was how nasty the wave pool floor was, I know it's probably difficult to upkeep but it's just gotten slowly worse since the last time they painted it a few years ago. On another positive note the staff were very helpful and everyone I went with had a good time :)
  • Great staff, very friendly management, most certainly the best pool in edmonton for an awesome time for adults and kids alike! Love it! ❤ Also, the surf simulator is the most fun you will have in any pool. So much fun!!!
  • Absolutely amazing water slides. That says it all. But it is a bit on the pricy side, however if you get the passes along with a hotel room in the fantasyland hotel. It's a good deal.
  • Pretty fun place to spend the day. It's been a life long dream to go and I did have fun but they need to fix it up and turn the water and air temperature up!! For $50 plus $8-$12 for a locker they can afford to provide guests with the comfort of not freezing. If I heard they turned the temperature up even 2°c my friends and I would go back and more often. I can live with a little run down but to pay that much I really don't want to shiver 90% of the time.
  • Great place for a makeshift beach visit. I would like to see some different things brought into the pool area though, like a river or something. The waves gets kinda boring after an hour.
