World Waterpark, Edmonton

#2 of 11 in Theme Parks in Alberta
Water Park Theme Park
Slip and slide the day away at World Waterpark, the second largest indoor water park in the world, and a great day out for the whole family. Try one of the 11 water slides, each ranging in intensity from "beginner" to "extreme," the latter of which includes a "loop de loop." Try your hand at the park's surf simulator, where you can take lessons and learn to ride the waves indoors. Expect to pay an entrance fee even if you’re just watching your kids, and bear in mind that the park can get very busy, so consider a midweek visit. • A phenomenal waterpark. There are 17 slides, allowing for a full range of thrill levels. I would recommend going early, right when they open as it does get quite busy after lunch. The $8.00 locker ren...  more »

  • The park is as always a great indoor water park for the kids. For an attraction this is pretty good. They need way way better seating and a lot more of it. Get rid of the viewing balcony (which is cre...  more »

  • Was good overall the price isn't bad it you look for a deal (birthday party, choice pass, last 3 hours) and most of the slides were working the locker was $12 but we fit the stuff for 7 people in there so very worth what we paid. My biggest complaint was how nasty the wave pool floor was, I know it's probably difficult to upkeep but it's just gotten slowly worse since the last time they painted it a few years ago. On another positive note the staff were very helpful and everyone I went with had a good time :)
  • Great place and never too busy. No complaints. The free pop is nice but does leave you wondering just how much urine is in the water
  • Really enjoyed it! Family had a great time! Could be a bit cleaner, however it a big place lots of options for the entire family! Well worth it!
  • Great staff, very friendly management, most certainly the best pool in edmonton for an awesome time for adults and kids alike! Love it! ❤ Also, the surf simulator is the most fun you will have in any pool. So much fun!!!
  • Run down, worn out, kludge-fixes everywhere. Some slides that were taken out of service 15 to 20 YEARS ago are still not in service. Dead palm trees, rusty ladders, cloudy leaky glass panels, burned out lights, incredibly disgusting brown stained slides. Everything is dirty and in desperate need of a paint job. "Family Changeroom" is overrun with adults without children. Regularly shut down for health violations. If you're looking to contract Cryptosporidium save yourself the 50 bucks and get a hobo to lick your face in the food court. Awful place. Absolutely not recommended.
