  • Because of the paved path and elevation I use this off-leash park in the spring, and whenever there has been a lot of rain. The park grounds seem to produce less mud than other places. The park is long narrow strip that runs along the edge of the river valley. There are trees and open areas, and some picnic benches if you need a rest. Because of the limited space people seem to take more care to ensure their dogs are under control in this park than other parks - which is good as the pathway is a multi-use trail.
  • Best place I've found so far in the city for mountain biking. The is a huge number of trails, all interconnected with a good combination of technical climbs and decents, some jumps, wooden bridges and everything in-between. A few of the longer climbs have good views at the top as well.
  • This is an awesome off leash area for dogs (and humans.) Parking has always been an issue, especially on weekends, and sometimes people like to park on things they shouldn't and wreck the landscaping that was just done. There are also some stupid parallel parking spots on the road leading out of the park that make it extremely difficult to get out at busy times, and dangerous on a curve on a hill where you can't see people coming. The park itself is great, with several water access areas for your dog or if you want to take a kayak/raft/tube/whatever on the river. There are enough trails that you can usually get away from most of the people if you want to, a lot just congregate in the giant field by the parking lot. Be on the watch for coyotes or porcupines and have good recall on your dog in the event you see them. The new bridge across the river is great, but the lights shine in your eyes if you walk on it at night, and can kind of blind you a bit.
  • Great place to relax! This is also a great place for anyone who owns a dog bec. they have a dog park as well 🐶
  • It's a great place to take your dog but there's unlocked up poop, the parking lot is small and unpaved and the area just seems unkept all together. Nice walk bridge though!
