  • Would have rated 5 stars if the ice was flooded more often as it is usually much too long between floods resulting in dangerous ice conditions with all the ruts . Years ago, the ice was kept up much better. At the rink in the Lloyd Center Mall in Portland Oregon, the ice was flooded within an hour when i skated there on 2 occasions several years ago so skating was fantastic. Puts the ice at the Ice Palace to shame. Otherwise, an awesome place to skate and the biggest attraction at the W.E.M. for me. Unfortunately, hardly any skate times on weekends so far this year until Easter.
  • I grew up in Edmonton and the novelty of the Ice Palace will never wear off for me. Ice skating, in a mall, in the summer! I loved skating here with my kids. Rentals are easy peasy.
  • A great place to be. They usually have hockey nights, free skating events. Best to get a seat at Starbucks and Timmies above ( if you are not skating) to enjoy the games
  • Nice to watch kids games occasionally going on
  • I don't recommend IcePalace to anyone who is planning to start learning how to skate. IcePalace don't provide any feedback to CanSkaters. No score card is provided. You will never know the progress of your child. Your child might also end up in the same level for years, just because IcePalace don't have any system to record and track your child's progress. Don't waste your time and money here. Not recommended at all.
