  • Very nice park, clean and well kept and a nice place for the dogs to run around and play with other dogs. Also have some nice bike trails. Watch for the train though it can be up to a 15 wait before t...  more »
  • Come on down once and see for yourself. For most people, that is enough to bring them back multiple times. This is my primary dog park. Why? There's a nice variety of trails and paved paths, a walk of...  more »

  • This is our closest off leash park and what a gem. There is plenty of path to walk on. It's busy (lots of dogs) and spacious. Access to the river if you want to let your dog burn off some steam with a swim. The path has many access points. There is a beautiful pond that has ducks, geese and I think some pelicans. Careful around the pond it's very very mucky and will ruin your car's interior (but make your dog VERY happy with his or herself). This is one of the best and biggest in Edmonton. I highly recommend it for your fun loving pooch
  • My husband and I are dog park enthusiasts and frequent a variety of parks across the city with our well socialized Labrador Retriever. We had a rather unfortunate first experience at Hermitage as our dog was attacked. The attacking dog was an aggressive breed on leash in an off leash area. Our dog approached him playfully, when the attacking dog proceeded to grab our dogs snout and not let go. It took my husband and the other owner to part the two dogs - extensive measures were taken. This was truly a heart wrenching experience. If your dog is not socialized please do not bring them to off leash dog areas, for the safety of all parties.
  • It's the best dog park in the city (in my opinion) although it's under construction right now it's aways a good experience friendly people well behaved dogs the ones that aren't the owners get told train or don't come back
  • Great off leash dog park. Has excellent picnic facilities with ponds and fishing for the kids
  • Great for dogs. Lots of space. Now there is construction but it's still worth it.
