  • The building is really majestic from both the inside and the outside. The building displays lots of interesting facts about its history. I’m not sure, but I think you can swim in the fountains when the Summer arrives. If you’re looking to be educated of Albertan history, and/or want to just have fun exploring the building and it’s surrounding area, then you should definitely go there.
  • The grounds are well kept and great for exploring/walks year-round. Be sure to check out the interior as well, as there are free tours (approximately 45 minutes in duration) every hour on the hours. Also, check out the Visitors Centre across the way; there’s a theatre showing a really neat short interactive film on the history of Alberta and a gallery showing rotating exhibits!
  • All Legislature buildings from Manitoba to BC have the same structure. That doesn't mean that they are boring... in the Alberta's case, they have an awesome garden and good special lighting for the Christmas season. I liked it and recommend it. (Inside the building is not that interesting)
  • The grounds here are beautiful and there always seems to be something going on. Around Christmas they set up a beautiful Christmas tree and they have a skating rink set up on the grounds. This place is always nice if you feel like going on a quick walk somewhere in Edmonton.
  • One of the few things that you have to visit in edmonton. The park it is nice as well. Visiting the legislator and the palms is an experience.
