  • Great sand, clean, ocean cold but perfect for a hot day. Great surf. Toilets are just the hole in the ground type (no plumbing). No shop or refreshment stand so take plenty of drinks. 
  • Our day spent at Martinique Beach was a highlight of our trip to Nova Scotia in August. The horizon goes on forever, and the breeze has a fragrant salty mist. I thought of this quote as I walked along...  more »
  • Great beach for walking. Cold water. Ample space for getting away from crowds. Regularly walk the dog; friends use it for (relatively) short runs.
