  • Only an hour from Ottawa or Montreal. Such a lovely spot, mist on the lake in the morning, and mirror-like lake near our spot. We stayed at site 84, very nice, but have already scouted out other sites...  more »

  • A great trip with the kids to a close by campground. We stayed in campground Iriquois A and it was very close to a beach. Campsites were as excluded as possible, with treed areas in between all sites....  more »

  • Loved their beach!!!! The camp grounds are nicely seperated by bushes too so your neighbors don't intrude on your space :) but last visit, the toilets flooded for over a day. But hey, sh** happens! A pipe burst and that's that! The staff is super sweet and informative too!
  • Amazing Park so close to Ottawa and Montreal! This is the 3rd year we have gone there, but this year we went later in the year. In the month of September. But we had a trailer and we ended up taking a site with an electrical outlet. So glad we did. We needed the heat, but even though it was cold, there were still many other campers there, even those still camping in tents. The staff were amazing as usual. Though I did find that late in the year the store closes and so we had to go to the front for everything like wood and ice, but be warned, the selection which they have at the store (Of which it has a huge selection, including a snack bar where you can guy fries, hot dogs and other hot foods and ice cream, packaged or from tubs) so be warned that later in the year as it gets colder out selection is limited. But we saw staff all the time. Bathrooms were always clean and never had issues with a mess. We didn't take showers this late in the year but when I checked in on them they were very clean. Prices are extremely good, they are a National Park so most prices are pretty well the same across the board. Based on what you need, take and want. We took ours for 2 nights. We have camped there with my sister's and their families and they love it there. The site we took this year was probably one of the best ones we have had so far. Would I recommend this site for camping? Heck yeah. We camped with friends from Montreal there since it was halfway for both of us.
  • Great place to bring the family. Beautifully maintained camp grounds, friendly staff and basic amenities near by. If you need the security of a convenience store while camping this is a great place. We like the Portage side of the park. Far from the beach, but it is usually very private and quiet.
  • A very large and picturesque park that has many campsites and wonderful views of the Ottawa river. Also close to the Carillon dam and lock which is very popular with boaters. A must place to visit if you love nature and camping.
  • Great place to go to the beach as a family if you're looking for a quiet spot. Lots of picnic tables and the facilities are clean. Very cheap breakfast as well. One problem that came up for the first time is the presence of geese who leaves "messes." Other than that, great place for a day in the sun.
