Voyageur Provincial Park Reviews
Escaped the city as it's 40C. Really quite place to sit and enjoy a lazy day and having the water to cool down. 1 hour from Montreal and you can enjoy the water and peace. Would recommend coming it's ... more »

Très déçue j'y suis aller pour rendre visite une couple d'heure une amie qui ferait du camping ont ma demander en entrant si cetais pour la journee ou pour coucher je lui ai répondue pour une couple d... more »Very disappointed I go to visit a couple of time a friend who would make the campsite have my request by entering if cetais for the day or for bed I replied for a couple of time as it was already 3 hrs pm have my load $14.50 told him that expensive cetais 14.50 1 person and a couple of time I ask how to sleep have my $11.30 answered I told him finally jai change your mind I'm going to bed, but given that I said visit first she told me that cetais $14.50 Allard the moral of the story if you go make visits to this so-called camping that you go to bed at your visitor rather than the visit is less expensive for me it is finished I will not stay more at this place
This was one of our favorite campgrounds up until around 2015 when whomever was in charge decided to designate some camping sites as seasonal campsites. this is nothing more than a way to make a profit at the expense of regular campers. What this also means to us regular campers is that sites that were once available on a short stay basis is no longer available because seasonal campers hog it up for the entire camping season!!!! Nice going camp management. You've angered many regular clients to make one seasonal camper happy! Here's a note to management- why not switch seasonal camping spots yearly so that us regular campers can have the opportunity to rent spots that we used to be able to have.
Great place for camping always clean large lots even larger in portage and great for group camping this place would be a five star but unfortunately the beaches have been closed often in the last few years because of the bacteria in the water.
It was a foggy morning. But everything cleared up quickly. A great place to explore on a long road trip.
This place is VERY clean. Love that. Lawns are well manicured, camping grounds are very clean and well looked after. I saw several rangers out and about everywhere keeping the grounds clean and ready to help with anything and I also saw a security officer roam around in his car all afternoon and evening to make.sire everyone is safe and following rules. Very quiet lovely camping grounds. There is a also a cute beach and a few parks. Washrooms were pretty gross but it's a campground so it is to be expected. The beach was clean (clean sand and well maintained swimmung area) however the water is very dirty because it seems to be near a swamp and is mostly stagnant water. Although we had a great time, my son swallowed some beach water and got terribly ill and we had to leave in the middle of the night to go to the hospital. The rangers at the front 24/7 help desk were so helpful and even refunded us for the night we weren't able to stay.
They were closed. At least the access road was plowed and usable by big trucks for a rest stop.
