  • The museum was much bigger than I was expecting. It's made up of old buildings and houses which have been relocated to their site. You can explore each building and learn about the early history of the area. There are washrooms on site as well as a snack bar and a water cooler where you could refill a water bottle. There is a small assortment of live stock as well. The staff we met were very informative, friendly and very welcoming.
  • Attended their Easter event. An affordable family activity. One must have some appreciation of historical lifestyles to enjoy the place. Water cooler available on-site. There is a small canteen serving light refreshments. The volunteers working there are a nice bunch and a joy to talk to.
  • Excellent service. The saw mill is great!
  • I live the learning about the heritage. They have events that are affordable and family oriented
  • This place rocks. We like it so much we took out a membership. I highly recommend the power weekend, Canada day and Christmas. It's very low-key yet interesting entertainment for the whole family. Top Tip: If you can go on a Sunday when the railroad guys are there, they offer rides which kids (and big kids!) love!
