The Kavatour guide, Jean-Philippe was very interesting in its explanations. A favorite for co-owner of Léon Courville winemaker! An experience even if like us, you enjoy wine without being of great connoisseur!
I apologetically admit that I was not aware that La Route des Vins was so well developed and well worth a visit. You must take at least 2 or 3 days to travel through the area and visit the 22 certifie... more »
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce tour. Notre guide (je crois Jean Etienne) était très sympa et avait une très bonne connaissance de l'histoire du Canada ( prof d'histoire). Notre premier vignoble visit... more »We enjoyed this tour. Our guide (I think Jean Etienne) was very friendly and had very good knowledge of the history of Canada (history teacher). Our first visited vineyard was "Field the bromine", very nice. We have learned the main actions of the wine tasting. With a glass of water to rinse the mouth, a spittoon, the cracks for each wine another drink, as it should. The wines were not my favorite. In the "castles of cards", the passion of the owner, Stéphane was contagious! When he explains the work applied to make a good 'traditional method' sparkling wine, you know the price of this luxury product. His willingness to share his knowledge is very graceful and despite the fact that I am rather side artist, loved learn chemistry that comes into play during its manufacture and its so delicious wines. For me, its wines were the best, apart from the Red that I preferred the "the Bauge vineyard". The most industrial of the three vineyards, but always human size. Too bad it started to rain, we couldn't visit his exotic animal park. I wish Simon (owner): all them wines to taste were served in the same glass. There was no water for rinsing the mouth, no bread or crack to remove the taste of the previous wine. A little advice: Add a bottle of water on the table and a small bucket to rinse his glass and his mouth between each wine.
