  • Watching the salmon attempt the rapids was mesmerizing. If it hadn't been for the rain we could have stayed a watched this nature "show" for hours.  more »
  • The Nymph park consists of a part of the forest with a river, which features a number of small rapids in sequence, nice to look at and not too high. This season the real show provide salmon trying to climb out of the current and jump over the Rapids, raising himself even one meter above the water level. One amazing thing!

  • Favorite place to walk my dog's, since dog's are always allowed off leash - so please be prepared to encounter dog's without a master immediately in sight. Well groomed trails, with some wheelchair accessible area's. Numerous seating options throughout the park, often with tranquil views. Spectacular views, sunbathing rocks, waterfall's, swimming hole's (when the river is low), picnic tables, mountain bike trails, lush beautiful forest. Autumn you could possibly witness the Salmon jumping up the falls on route to their spawning place. One can imagine that they might even meet a Elf from the "Lord of the Rings" while walking through the woods. Little bit of heaven on Earth. Parking can be a problem during summer months, recommend you arrive early if you want a good spot.
  • We really enjoyed watching the start of the salmon run in early October. Watch out for Google directions! We ended up on the opposite side of the falls from the viewing area, and had to backtrack.
  • Gorgeous wooded pathways. Well maintained. Fully worth the short walk. Difficult to find via the roadway or Google maps. We asked directions along the way.
  • Amazing spot to go for hikes and hang out on the rocks in the sun. They recently put in some stairs to get to the rocks at the bottom of the falls.
  • Beautiful place to go for a walk. Trails are easy so don't be intimidated! The falls and the pools below are amazing. Can't wait to come in the summer and stick my feet in the water.
