Lucky Strike Vaughan Reviews
Always always busy. Parties are decent, food has come a long way... bar is good. Arcade is chaotic, no one was at redemption counter during a kids party, should have been more staff. more »
If you really want to enjoy yourself, either pick a weekday or go early on weekends. Events are always going on which makes it hard sometimes to get a lane and enjoy ourselves without feeling either r... more »
My son chose Lucky Strike to host his birthday party with his buddies. It was a fun choice. The kids had a blast bowling and having munchies. It was a bit pricey for a kids b day, although worth it. more »
Hands down the worst bowling experience of my life. This place needs to be completely shut down for a total overhaul. Arrived there late (9 pm) on a Thursday evening. Start with positives: 1- Nice staff. But the girl at the bar poured ice tea instead of cranberry juice. No big deal. Negatives: 1- Equipment is broken beyond belief. We had to change lane half way through since it got jammed. Prior to that it was mis-scoring, giving triple shots on and on. The saga continued on the new lane with similar issues. We played three games and in each game the scoring was completely F**'ed up. Will never know who won that night. 2- A number of projectors were missing or had really poor, snowy pictures. 3- The men's room smelled worse than any public bathroom on TTC, college campus or at the movies. Obviously no proper ventilation and garbage everywhere. This is definitely a health hazard. 4- Some of the furniture near the lanes are worn out and in need of replacement. These guys charge $15/hr per person and the service is this? Will NEVER go back.
Very crowded. The service is average. Good place to have fun with the guys
A lot has changed since they first opened, except the price. For the amount you pay to bowl here they should be able to afford to replace the shoe laces and have enough of each size shoe on hand. I had to bowl in a size too small, with laces too short. The running lights on the alleys were out and there were no waitresses, instead you have to carry your parties drinks all the way from the bar. If lucky strike is promising an up scale bowling experience they should try a little harder to deliver. I won't be back for some time.
I couple weeks ago, I went bowling with my Aunt. It was very fun. We ended up buying more bowling time. The only complain would be the price, I think it was about 40 dollars for half hour not including the shoes. But the place looked very well, better than woodbridge bowl. Had a great time!
The bowling here is actually quite fun and thanks to the coupon we had it was reasonably priced. The drinks however are on the pricier side with four shots costing us thirty dollars, but most troubling is the forced gratuity on parties of six or more, coupled with the weak selection on the menu and I was ready to start some trouble. Yes a lot of places do the BS forced gratuity (which in my opinion should be illegal) but how dare they ask for 20% when they have nothing really significant on the menu and no service to speak of? If we have to seek a waiter/waitress, don't mandate tips! This gratuity crap has to stop! The waitress had the courage to tell us (a group consisting of a few computer professionals) that the computer wouldn't let her split the bill more than twice... right and you can make things blow up by hacking into networks. We didn't eat there, obviously.
