  • WE used to live nearby, and the Goose Spit was a part of our daily life for walks, off-leash pet activities, evening barbecues, and swimming all summer. Great sand beach at low tide.  more »

  • I have joined family and friends at this park. Ocean front and room for everyone. You can always just drive by for a scenic view or stay a while and enjoy. We had fun around an open pit and fire. The ...  more »
  • Beach is a mix of rocky and sandy areas. Beautiful scenic views of Georgia Strait and local mountains. Best time to visit is at low tide. Popular park for personal fitness.
  • The default place to take any new visitors to the Comox Valley from where one can look across to the mainland, Denman & Hornby Islands and the 'other' side - Royston. Take a Kayak across or do like the locals and tackle the 'fitness steps' in your latest flashy running gear :)
  • Goose spit is a good place to go for a short walk while in the Comox area. Along the beach if you keep a close eye on the ground you might spot clear little jellyfish that are left behind when the tide goes out. It is also popular with dogs and their owners, in saying that watch out for the lazy owner who neglects to pick up after the dog does it's business.
  • The best beach for finding shells, various types of starfish & crabs in tidal pools. I have never been there when the dolphins or whale's have been sighted, I understand it does happen - just not to me. The view is stunning & the sunset's spectacular. Along the beach is several fire pit site's, but you have to arrive early to get one of those. The beach itself is rocky with sand patches. Lower the tide the more sand available. On the lagoon side there is extra parking, picnic tables & bathrooms(camouflaged in a driftwood structure). Also a good site to launch a kayak or paddle board, very shallow water even at high tide. Goose Spit is a popular beach for both locals & tourists alike.
  • Beautiful views. Very relaxing. Good fitness
