  • Side Launch is definitely worth a visit. They make nice beers and have a great retail store. It's fun to watch the brewer working while you try a flight. The woman working wasn't the most helpful and ...  more »
  • We ran across this little gem on the way back to Toronto from Blue Mountain resort. They have a comfy little tasting room and a good selection of beers to sample. I particularly liked the schwarzbier....  more »

  • Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Sampled a tasting flight here. As they say themselves--and I agree!--their beers are approachable yet tasty.
  • A great place to drop by and pick up a growler or two for the weekend. Over the last few years the staff has been friendly and helpful with each visit to the brewery.
  • Went out of our way to check out this brewery, as we're not from town. We tried a few of their beers before and thought they were great! Experience at the brewery was kind of crappy though. We waited unnoticed for a while before the bartender acknowledged us. There was lots of staff running around, but everyone seemed really busy setting up for some kind of event. Bartender was totally preoccupied. gave us a few samples, and provided no information on the different beers whatsoever, or about the brewery. For me, that's part of the experience that brings me out to these breweries for the same stuff I can get at the LCBO or Beer Store. You hope to come out of there with some new information on your favorite beers, and add a couple more to the fav's list too, hopefully! Not the case. Made us kind of regret heading as far out of our way as we did to check this place out. Thank fully the beautiful Collingwood scenery made up it! Beers are good, Brewery service was crap.
  • They make great beer. Their tap room could be a bit better and so could staffing but overall the beer is so good it's not a big deal. Try the pale ale!
  • good place to pick up some sidelaunch, but not much else. better to enjoy the beer at one of the near by pubs
