  • Wonderful place for snowboarding! Hills are tall enough for you to enjoy a good ride. Parking is pretty convenient. Lady at the store selling gears is friendly and she gave us good instruction of how to use and client feedback of the instant wax we bought there. Food is of fair price. Lodge is of good size. Not too busy on the Sunday we went. Lifts are wide. If you go after 1230, you'll be buying afternoon ticket which is $62 as opposed to the regular ticket at $71, wonderful for me who don't leave home early.... I love the experience there!
  • This is a great mountain for beginners and experienced skiers and snowboarders. All of the hills were open when we visited, and it was easy to make our way around the resort. The chalet has a lot of food options, with a space for eating packed food as well as a bar with a wide variety of alcoholic drinks. The employees working in the rental area were very helpful and getting from the rentals to the hills did not take long.
  • Being from The Bahamas l haven't seen snow before and never went skiing and Mount Saint Louis seemed to be the best choice so my family checked it out this weekend!! Overall it was a great experience staff were friendly and the place is well stocked with gear. I'm the type that prefers learning on my own but I'm glad I took the lessons the instructor was great and efficient took us through the very basics and in no time we were coming down the big hill. The sight of the sloops are beautiful and well maintained and wasn't crowded the Sunday afternoon we went. I must say though inside the building can be like a maze at first and the signage around was kinda small or not easily noticed so my only suggestion would be to have larger signs like hanging from the ceiling with arrows. Also I couldn't tell if anyone was around or not so I would suggest to have highly visible staff members on the sloops like wearing bright orange in case people need assistance like noobs who fell and had trouble getting up. But overall this ranked as one of the best experiences in my life and I would recommend people check it out I'm definitely gonna be back my family and I loved it!!!!!
  • The quintessential Ontario Skill hill. Tons of upward capacity. Decent runs and terrain. Terrain park is top notch. Food is okay, obviously expensive. Season passes are reasonable. Amazing snow conditions all the time. I like the fact it doesn’t try to be some big fancy resort in the way Blue Mountain tries to be. If I want that experience I am going out west, or out east.
  • The Huber family has owned this resort for 50 years and you can tell that it caters to true skiers. I've been skiing here since the early 80's and every few years they're improving something: new high speed chair lifts, increasing the vertical, buying the private ski resort (Moonshine) next door, new high speed high volume snow making equipment and all from a family business. It's not a Blue mountain with high end shops and fancy restaurants ; I go to the hills to ski not shop, how pathetic. Like I said, this hill is for the true skier, Great variety and elevation, tops in Ontario if not, real close with that family feel.
