  • This is a relaxing place for an easy flat walk to view Herons and watch eagles. Plenty of photo opportunities and nice little visitor center.
  • This is a lovely historic stop on our 12km circuit along the Chilliwack River. While we walk in November 2016, a 'nothingness ' season according to the tourism world, we really appreciate the centre giving us some perspective on the area! This is our first trip to Canada. The official tourist season finished in October, and the ski season starts on 24th November, 4 days before we left the country. Though nothing to the tourists trade, we had a ball of a time watching the wild salmons swimming upstream to spawn and die! What a sight during this time!! Canada is well endowed with wild salmons by the abundance!
  • Good trails that are maintained. Lots of benches. Nice staff at the interpretation center. Birds, bunnies and frogs to be seen!
  • I took 7 children from my daycare there when they had a family nature event on. We all had a great time learing about beavers and the streams. There were so many interactive displays and crafts that the children really enjoyed it. We ate a snack on one of the pic nic tables and went for a walk on the trail. It is a wonderful place to go and also a really important place to support in our community.
  • Did a river cleanup here. It is a beautiful place!
