Cultus Lake Waterpark Reviews
Good service. It is a fun park but a bit small. The cost is excessive for what is offered. This often happens when there is a shortage of competition. It was clean and well maintained with friendly em... more »
A good water park with many different slides so that you don’t need to wait for hours for a one minute slide. People are in good order. The children’s splash area is nice. Kids pool and slides are nea... more »

We went here on BC Day (Monday of the August long weekend), and fully expected it to be busy....it was. However, it was also a huge amount of fun and I really like aspects of how the place is run! We arrived early, and they let people in shortly after 9:30 am (the slides open at 10). They also let us go in with snacks, lunch, sealed drinks (no filled coffee cups), sun shelters and lawn chairs. We got a table under one of their permanent sheltered tables (there are 100s of those), and a portable picnic table that we were able to put our sun shelter over. There were also water fountains available to fill water bottles so if you bring in empty bottles you can fill them inside. Alternatively, you can buy any food or non-alcoholic drinks you want at the multiple restaurants in the park. By letting us in early, we were able to get setup and put on sun screen such that we were able to hit the rides right at 10, and I really appreciated that! Oh, and I was able to rent a locker for $5 ($10 deposit of which you get $5 back when you return the key) to store our valuables. We probably got in half of our 30 slides of the day before 11:30 am, as most of the rides weren’t busy before then. The crowds kept coming though, and things slowed down after that. At 2, there was a second wave of humanity into the park, and that led to ride lines exceeding 30 minutes, which wasn’t as fun. It also led to the water in the kids area and lazy river taking on a milky hue, so I would avoid those areas after 2 pm. Like I said though, it was a hot BC Day, so it might have been busier than usual. All in all, I will go back here and recommend it’s really fun!
I visited cultus lake water park with my brother, his three young kids and our dad who is 71. We had an awesome time! We arrived early, about half an hour before the park opened. The weather was hot and sunny (July 9). You have to pay $5 for parking:( Once we got our tickets, we headed straight to a covered picnic table to claim a spot before the crowds arrived. The kids loved the pirate water playground, the lazy river and the hot tubs the most. I enjoyed the three blue water slides, all of the slides with tubes and the valley of fear. The park is a perfect size for young families. I had a hamburger and fries which were good. You can rent lockers there to keep your stuff, but we just stashed our bags under the picnic table and checked on them from time to time. My dad was probably the oldest person at the park and he had a fun time too. I highly recommend this park. Also, it is surrounded by beautiful scenery of mountains and trees.
Lots of fun under the sun! Recommended. You can find some shaded spots around. On the food side, the burger and fries were surprisingly very good - so I'd recommend that, but the pizza was just meh. Stick with the burger and fries and you won't go wrong. :-)
Beautiful park, well maintained and lots of new slides. There is lots of room to hang out on the grass and set up a base to enjoy the slides from. Added bonus that you can bring in your own food from home (not restaurants) and sealed non alcoholic beverages. Can get really busy on the weekend so if you can, try to get there on a weekday.
Get there as early as possible and ride the big stuff right away before the lines get big after lunch. Everyone had a fun day. Service staff were great, place was clean and the rides were well managed and kept moving. We go each summer now that the kids are big enough to enjoy the park and we will continue to make it a staple of our Summer Adventure List.
