  • Was there in winter searching for owls so probably not the optimal time to take advantage of the trails. That said I did walk around the snowy refuge and clocked almost 10 miles of well marked trails....  more »
  • Great opportunities to photograph Great Grey Owls in a natural environment where baiting is not allowed and the owls hunt for their food naturally. Photographers are required to stay on groomed trails...  more »

  • Love it here. Really a necessity to have. Great place to unwind and get away from all the stresses. Peaceful and great things to see and experience.
  • Nice park. Lots of different scenery. High propability to see deers and racoons. There is a long forest section and the other side is a wetland, bring mosquito repellant. On the north side, you have a nice view of the St-Lawrence river and the skyscrappers downtown Mtl. Access fee
  • It's ok for a walk along the water if you happen to live in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
  • One of the best managed wildlife refuge in the region. Home to an incredible biodiversity.
  • 25 minutes from downtown this bird sanctuary is rich with wildlife including plenty of deer. Great for a walk through the nature paths and subsequent coffee and dessert at the cafe onsite.
