I think I would be getting my money's worth just by going through the entrance into the garden where the moist, sweet, warm air takes one instantly into the tropics. This is an easy attraction to navi... read more »
This place is just minutes from Butchart Gardens, and I knew we'd be stopping afterwards. My wife loves butterflies and I figured what the heck. We were told when we got there to be aware of the "heat... read more »
Stunning array of butterflies, birds, tropical foliage, and water features! We have been to several butterfly gardens, including the one at the Seattle Science Center. This butterfly garden takes the cake. It's a delightful assortment of very healthy butterflies. There are so many that you have to frequently watch your step and duck as a butterfly flutters by. We loved it. The garden isn't huge, but it makes up for it's size with the sheer number of different species! Check out our photos. It's a must see!
This wasn't on my list of places to visit, but my mom wanted to take a look on our way from Butchart Gardens to Victoria. We ended up having a fantastic time here! The butterflies are amazing, especially the giant owl one with the beautiful blue wings. They land on you from time to time. You can see them feed and if you are lucky - hatching from their cocoons. Fun for the whole family!
Small but very unique Garden, full of butterflies, tropical plants, exotic birds, flamingos, turtles... If you visiting with children, it will be very educational and fun, because in front of your eyes you can see how beautiful butterfly was born, or touching very friendly parrot, who was saying "hello"
One of the best butterfly houses i have ever been to. Gorgeous butterfly's parrots, lizards and flamingos all running and flying free. The entrance fee is minimal for what is offered and the centre itself is easy to find 10/10 .
