  • The Butchart Gardens make a beautiful day memorable. The flowers and sculptures are wonderful. Really not to be missed! My husband isn't "into" gardens, and he thoroughly enjoyed Butchart.  more »
  • The gardens are not as large as the map would suggest, and 3 hours is quite adequate. In mid June there was a lot in bloom, including about half the roses. Understand that the gardens reflect a late 1...  more »

  • If you are planning a trip to BC it is worth building this into your destination musts. If traveling with your dog, bring them with! People were so kind to Odin and he enjoyed being a part of the plan. However, remember some people are not dog-friendly fanatics so be kind and sensitive. If you love flowers, unique vegetation and maintained gardens a visit here is a must. Photography mandatory. Bring a lunch and eat by the car if you can. The food is good on the premises but probably too pricey for a family of four or more.
  • This is the most beautiful place on earth. We traveled here from Texas and I didn't know anything could be so beautiful. You have to experience this world of absolute breathtaking flowers, trees, plants and the entire property was unbelievable. If you don't go anywhere else...GO HERE! It's a must! You will love it!
  • Absolutely stunning gardens. A lot of work goes in to keep this place looking beautiful. It was a good visit. I would of given 5 stars but there were too many dogs there. The gardens are not for dogs.
  • I love this place! I'm a pass holder, so I visit a couple of times a month. In the summertime they offer entertainment which is always a hit. Yes, it's expensive but they always make sure to make it worth your while! The gardeners keep this place beautifully landscaped, and as colourful as it can be for each season. It's so lovely to see the changes in the seasons if you're lucky enough to go more often.
  • Incredibly beautiful gardens! Staff was friendly and helpful. My young son loved talking to all of the folks that had brought their dogs out with them and enjoyed petting their canine companions. He's excited to try out the assortment of seeds from the Gardens.
