Maybe this is one of Victoria's greatest parks. Lots to do from horsback riding to dog training, to hiking, to swimming, boating, waterskiing, sailboarding, fishing and even rowing. Prob the very best thing is the 10K trail around the lake that is perfect for running! The only reason i did not give it a 5 star is the frequent algea blooms in Beaver lake that can make your children very sick or even kill your dog.
Went for Ironman half triathlon (70.3). Nice park. Lake was too full of sea weed. Course had to be altered because of that. Otherwise great place for a triathlon.

Check the internet ahead of time to determine whether you can swim. Great trails, usually great swimming,
Excellent place for a walk or a run. In the summer, the beach is very nice and warm. It is one of those place that stay with you after you move away.
Possible the best dog walking park in the city. Many kms of trails around the two lakes. Great place to socialize your dog with other dogs. Lots of joggers.
