Hike, swim, or stroll at Cavendish Beach, a long stretch of coastline within a national park. Extending for 8 km (5 mi), the broad natural sand beach offers a variety of car-accessible points with supervised swimming spots. Dip into the clear blue waters, warmed by the Gulf stream, or trek along the interpretive nature trails to learn about the local ecology. Backed by red sandstone cliffs and dunes, the coastal area has an auburn glow to it. Grab a drink or ice cream from the onsite shop, and rent a beach chair to relax and take in the view. A paved path above the beach makes for scenic jogging. Make Cavendish Beach a part of your Cavendish vacation plans using our Cavendish itinerary maker.
