  • From the coastal road climb easily to the plateau where they span many wind turbines characterised by gigantic size. A paved road first, and then no more, guide to a collection of blades, some approachable and other visible anyway. You can reach just below a large shovel that certainly strikes because it's not an everyday experience. In the area there was a refreshment, currently closed as the weird vertical axis windmill, which can be seen from a very short distance. Ultimately, a leap here from the coast is strongly recommended.

  • I wonder, what this was supposed to be. When arriving on site, the gate was locked and nothing in sight. And there was no movement on the unit.  more »
  • The wind park of Cap-Chat, more than 130 wind turbines that wave their big arms to greet the tourists. The highlight of the Park, is the Eole, the highest wind turbine vertical axis of the world. It works now but you can see the inside of this monster of 110 m high. We will do the tour that will last 1½ hours. We climbed 18 ladders to reach the top. We are harnessed with a harness and we all wear a helmet. Our guide Henri is a real monkey and he's climbing at breakneck speed (he averaged 4 climbs per day).

  • Either you get in the wind or you visit. The visit begins with a video (without interest) and continues with very good explanations on site (with Quebec humor...). It is interesting and allows you to see a wind farm loan. To do even if it is $ 17 per adult...

  • At $ 17, this is not a good quality/price ratio.
