  • We've been wanting to get there for a while. We finally snagged a spot for 4PM. We walk in: chaos. The space is waaay too small and we had to struggle to the front to check in through a crowd of 20-30...  read more »
  • The food was good and the beer was too. A bit crowded due to The Hip concert being televised so we were asked to be seated at the bar, however there were seats available before our meal came, so seating was a little micromanaged. I had the elk burger, it was good, but elk is very lean so it is not a juicy burger. My wife loved the Hippy Biscuit, the vegetarian burger. Poutine was excellent. We will try this restaurant again when it is not so busy.
  • On a road trip with 3 girlfriends, we stopped at The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company on our way to a convention in Calgary. What an incredible place! The food was delicious, our beautiful, tattooed server was outstanding and the ambiance was so FUN! What a TREAT!!!
  • I will be coming all the way back from the east coast of the US for this restaurant. Their beers were so good I wanted to smuggle them over the border. The menu options for food were just OK, nothing totally flashy but tasty nonetheless. The beer though. Get a flight and have the bartender surprise you. There wasn't a bad beer in the bunch.
  • We really enjoyed this gem in Canmore. We stopped in at MEC in Calgary and talked with a couple of locals about the best places to eat. This was their number two suggestion next to Crazyweed where we also ate. We weren't too hungry, so we grabbed a couple of pints and a plate of maps which were both excellent. The atmosphere and the service were top notch!
  • It was extremely busy, but my husband and I got seated within 5 minutes of arriving and our food came so quickly! The service was great and the food was delicious. Definitely would return again!
