  • I would highly recommend this activity for any family. I came here with my wife and 3 kids (10, 11, 12). The office staff were superbly helpful with explanations and were very patient with some of our last minute requests of additional guests. Brent was our guide and I would highly recommend him - he is extremely knowledgeable, funny and just all round top-notch guide. He made extra efforts in explaining the geology behind the caves and was extremely attentive to our kids.
  • We went on the Adventure Tour in late June 2018. I myself already went into the cave with the same operator in 2002. The experience was again fantastic. Much credit is due to our terrific guide, Brent, who is not only a very experienced and very patient guide. He also told us great stories and shared his insights and knowledge about Rat's Nest in particular but also about caves and caving in general. Highly recommended. Also: if you have the time, go for the adventure tour. The additional time you can spend in the cave is well worth it.
  • From the moment we started planning this adventure until we made it back to the parking lot, this company did an awesome job! We had limited time to get this tour in, and Canmore Caves accommodated our hectic schedule by opening up an earlier time slot for us. From the Office Manager to our Guide, everyone was great! And while one of us was nervous as all hell to begin with, the cave was calming and fun to explore. Such a great experience and great for anyone!!
  • The tour itself was amazing, great guide and great experience exploring the cave. However, i planned this as a work event and we had one person cancel the day before due to a family emergency. When i tried contacting the office regarding a partial refund my calls and emails went unanswered. When we showed up the next day for the actual tour I asked our guide about potentially receiving a portion of the funds back for the one cancellation and he told me he couldn't help me and then told me the person i needed to speak with wasn't there to help either. So, i tried contacting them again via email at which point they told me there's nothing they can do about a no show on the day of the tour, disregarding the fact i tried contacting them the day before. I understand they offer a FULL refund for 48 hrs notice so i thought a partial refund would be fair for 24hrs notice but the fact they never responded to me negated the chances of that. Sincerely disappointed with the administration considering the tour was great.
  • This is a must in Canmore. Caving was a great experience and Brandon, our tour guide, made the experience much more memorable. He was super nice and very knowledgeable. The trail to the cave is a bit tough as it's more of a climb for about 30 minutes bit the scenery is great!
