  • A visit is relatively boring very limited opening hours. The public trail is much more exciting and go directly to the bridge of the River, here one has a fascinating path through the forest along river up to the hatchery. The gate of the hatchery incl closes the gate to the lock already 15:30. We were there 3 x and saw no bears. Neither on the paths along the river still directly on-site. The locks guard said he saw no bears this year. The salmon are however abundant before the lock. (End of August)

  • Took the family here and we they had a good time, nice little walk to see some bigger salmon in the river and some baby in the holding tanks around the buildings.
