  • This not the best-known of Calgary's beautiful parks, but it's well worth a visit. For the active crowd, it has lawn bowling greens, tennis courts, and an outdoor pool (summer only, of course). But fo...  read more »

  • Service, cleanliness, seen that works on an accomplishment worthy of the level of cleanliness and comfort. You can spend the whole day in the Park. There is also a good idea to ride a bike, rollerblading, there are dedicated lanes.

  • Great park for a family day out. There are charcoal BBQ grills you can use and bathrooms that are kept in really good shape, there is also an outdoor pool where the water temperature is regulated to 27C (great for children). It is also nice to sit by the river and go for a dip on really hot days. Pets are allowed but they have to be on leash
  • Great park to have a swim in the river, bbq, walk your dog or play in the park. I have always felt safe and the park is relatively clean. There is even an ice cream van in the summer and a public pool!
  • Stanley Park bowls is a great place to try a new sport and meet new friends. Very helpful coach's.
  • One of my favourite parks in Calgary. Flows out along the Elbow River. Great for biking and longboarding
  • Great park along the bend in the Elbow River. You can find picnic and BBQ areas here, along with tennis courts. This connects through the Elbow River walkway, so you can go running and cycling through here to add a touch of green to your path. If you go up on the hill, it's like a small downtown hiking path for the beginner hiker.
