  • This is a great family destination whether you like to picnic or float down the river. It's incredibly busy on the weekends with hard to find parking.  more »
  • They redid a lot ; new picnic tables and fire places and across the bridge a new dog park and beautiful pathways . One of my favorite places to go . Nice for walking or a family gathering.  more »

  • Love to play in the river during visits. Nice area to get wet. Nice up to date washrooms added since flood. Good gathering areas. Nice spot along the bike path to stop.
  • I love this park. Great views & always a great time at the off-leash areas! Great rec area near the river too!
  • Underrated urban park! Went here for Father's day and it was not busy at all, kind of a hidden gem I guess. Playgrounds, paths, beautiful vistas, and access to the river are great
  • Reserve a picnic/ barbeque spot for a big family get together and let the kids float their dinghys down the little river. There are lots of trees and grass to relax on. Be prepared to see a few dogs running free since there are off-leash areas on the hill above and the east side of the river. Nice little picnic spot.
  • Parking can be difficult on hot days as its a great entry point for rafters but such a nice spot that does not feel like you are in the city anymore!
