  • Eau Claire and is also not far away. Families with young kids coming up, I have a lot of citizens walk the unit and sent time. Compared to Eau Claire location.

  • Our kids had fun at the playground and then at the water park. Both facilities were free and well maintained. The kids did not want to leave. The grassy areas are also great for tossing a ball around...very level and safe for running around.
  • This park is beautiful! It has a large well maintained wading pool, a nice jungle gym park with rubber padding instead of gravel, and a gorgeous rock garden nearby. There are lots of shady spots by the pool to set up blankets. Parking is an issue so come early. The day we came, the pool opened about 40 minutes late at 9:40 but there was still almost no one there. The park has neat drums and an instrument for little kids to play on. I also like that they made a fallen tree a natural feature of the park instead of removing it . In the photo I have attached you can see that the bark has been removed and it is the perfect height for climbing for little kids.
  • One of Calgary's most beautiful parks. And wonderful splash park for the kids and beautiful hundred fifty year old trees.
  • This park is beautiful. The wading pool offers lots of shade and it's not very deep at its deepest part. The playground is new and there is lots of room for the people who use it especially on the weekend. Parking can be a challenge and it's not always free.
  • Lovely inner city park that's very clean and exquisitely manicured. The location adds to its Bohemian vibe. A nice place to spend the afternoon.

Where to stay in Calgary

South of the river is where most of the action happens in Calgary, and that's where you'll find the best selection of places to stay. Downtown, the central neighborhood located on the river's southern bank offers the widest range of choices, with access to several of the city's major metro stations a big plus. For arts, nightlife, and quality of living, go to The Beltine, known for its cafes, restaurants, arts, and entertainment. If you're just visiting the city briefly but want access to onward transport links, choose accommodations located close to the city's international airport.
