  • Prince's Island park is a refuge right in the heart of downtown Calgary. It's big, clean and beautiful; a way to escape the concrete during lunch time if you work downtown.  more »
  • With a park so close to the downtown area, you'd think that it would be noisy and dirty. Prince's Island Park is so clean...well all of Calgary is clean, with no graffiti, litter and homeless. It's al...  more »

  • This is a nice city park. - It has several interesting bridges giving access to the park. Peace Bridge is also nearby to the west. - An art sculpture area - A playground - A sort-of pond with geese/ducks. - Coffee shop with washrooms. - Nice views of the Bow river throughout. - Flower gardens - Area for performances - jogging/hiking trails - I would assume biking too - several picnic tables. Being downtown, it is close to several of the area amenities, notably Eau Claire market. We went on a Sunday so free downtown street parking. Might be a problem other days though since parking is really expensive. Visited May 2016
  • Beautiful green space in the center of the city. Lots of people around at lunch but it's definitely less busy on weeknights if there are no events on. Great spot for a picnic if you don't mind sharing your space.
  • Nice walking trails. Amazing view of downtown Calgary and bow river from Crescent road nw. There are so many options here for fun loving people. You can do boating, fishing , surfing, biking etc. You can bring your family and pets here and they will be happy for sure.
  • Well maintained and lovely park downtown. It can get pretty busy but it has really nice walking trails. Just be mindful of other people, bikers and runners.
  • Lovely place. Lots of foot traffic and cyclists. Watch your step when the geese are around! Especially in the grassy areas. It's a goose poo mine field.
