This is a serene place, in the heart of downtown Calgary. A great place for a quiet stroll with views of the river and the city skyline
I went when it just stared changing to fall. It was a very beautiful park, and I got some amazing photos. It was peaceful; I read a book on a bench out in the sun. It is pretty but also very simple. T... read more »
Beautiful park with the café, and tons of space for running and playing games. Plus there's tons of space for kids to run around as well (including the playground). The pokemon stampedes are a thing to get used to, but after a few minutes it becomes part of the atmosphere! Definitely come and enjoy a day at the park.
Great place for family walks. It does tend to get crowded but overall the pathways are clean and well maintained. And the park itself is a beautiful green space.
Yes, this place is full of PokemonGO stops. Other than that, it's a very nice place to go for a walk with your family. There is some really nice paths that lead around the lake. Prince's Island Park has a great vibe to it, with music around from buskers and also plenty of space to play multiple games of Frisbee!
A great park for a stroll after a dinner downtown. Or a very fun place to hunt for pokemon with hundreds of other people. It's no longer as peaceful during the night with all the pokemon trainers running around but its hilarious to watch/participate in mobs chasing down pokemon.
Nice for a stroll, though after living in Vancouver and having access to all the greenery there, this seemed small. But it's cute and quaint, and there are lots of public events like Shakespeare shows and a taste of Calgary and live music. If I'm in Calgary, I'll visit it again!
