  • The venue is great! The staff is friendly. It’s very clean and easy to navigate around. The atomosphere was electric . You can grab the c-train and it stops right at McMahon.  more »

  • My son played pee wee playoffs here this past fall. I have been in here lots to watch the Stamps, but never got to be at field level until my son played. To sit in the the stands as a fan is MEH, but actually seeing it from the field and checking things out down there, its pretty piss poor. The fields' at Shouldice park are way nicer! I have also been to the new stadium in Regina, and it puts McMahon to shame. Time to do something here, or we will loose the Stamps too.
  • I absolutely love the Stamps. I've had season tickets forever. The place brings back many many good memories. The only reason I'm giving it a 3 star not 5 is based on the actual facility. It's old as! Needs to be redone or revamped or anything. Needs a cover for sure. The season goes till Nov... Everyone knows Canada is not warm haha especially Calgary in the winter. Why make the fans have to struggle! We need something done about this place! Love it, but needs work!
  • Greatest football stadium! big parking lot! nearly 20 year season ticket holder here. Calgary doesn't need a fancy indoor stadium crammed into the downtown area, no thanks!
  • We love being season ticket holders! On the 50, right behind Stamps bench row 1. Can't get much better. We get to hear the energy of the crowd but man oh man being that close to the team is awesome! We are privy to the players only steps away from us - we feel their energy and listen to the on the fly strategizing and pumping each other up. McMahon .... I do wish that you'd become a peanut free facility AND I'd love some cup holders attached to my seat ... please ;)
  • Had a great time watching the Conference Finals. I found the building to be incredibly out of date and does not have a good flow for visitors. Few sparsely spread out ATMs and only cash service. Found ourselves waiting in line after line. They need to get this place up.

Where to stay in Calgary

South of the river is where most of the action happens in Calgary, and that's where you'll find the best selection of places to stay. Downtown, the central neighborhood located on the river's southern bank offers the widest range of choices, with access to several of the city's major metro stations a big plus. For arts, nightlife, and quality of living, go to The Beltine, known for its cafes, restaurants, arts, and entertainment. If you're just visiting the city briefly but want access to onward transport links, choose accommodations located close to the city's international airport.
