  • We visited the stadium when there's no contest. We walked around the stadium, they were at work and we just walked up to the field! Nice to this way, equally free in the stadium. There is also a small Olympic torch and rings.

  • we had great weather, good seats in A section..nice part no alcohol allowed in that section as it is deemed "Family" section. Found the food is a tad pricy however the Baron de Beouf was tasty..  more »

  • Great place to watch stamps games! Food is awesome and service is good. Sometimes if it's really busy it takes a while to get into the stadium, but usually it's all good. It's an old stadium, but it works fine.
  • I love going to Stampeders games. It always a good time, great atmosphere and an opportunity to meet new people. They have some pretty good food but expect to pay $9.50 for a beer.
  • Stamps won. Great tailgating. Good hosts
  • It was awesome being at McMahon stadium today staff was great and very helpful and kind! Bike show was amazing!!!! Great job!
  • First time to the stadium since moving from Ontario, had a great time, met some great fans, the Stamps won!....definitely going again.

Where to stay in Calgary

South of the river is where most of the action happens in Calgary, and that's where you'll find the best selection of places to stay. Downtown, the central neighborhood located on the river's southern bank offers the widest range of choices, with access to several of the city's major metro stations a big plus. For arts, nightlife, and quality of living, go to The Beltine, known for its cafes, restaurants, arts, and entertainment. If you're just visiting the city briefly but want access to onward transport links, choose accommodations located close to the city's international airport.
