  • This house is a treasure. Owned by a local attorney and later politician, it is a masterpiece of carved mahogany and stained glass windows. Currently there is a bonus, a wedding gown exhibition. Self ...  read more »
  • It is a small but beautiful house in the middle of the city surrounded by high-rise buildings with a great front yard. In the House itself you can look at everything. There are great pictures of window, the old wallpaper on the walls, the old furniture. Wedding dresses can be, etc, etc. visited in the lower part of the House You get a glimpse of the time quite well. There, you can even brunch.

  • Nice place to hang out on a hot summer day, enjoy a meal at the restaurant, or even get married! There's often a Groupon for the restaurant, so make sure to check that out if you intend to eat here and you'll save a lot of money!
  • The Lougheed is so beautiful and the exhibits are actually really interesting. AMA members also get in for half price. Its definitely worth your time.
  • My wife and I were here for a small wedding and were completely blown away with the venue. Every room is super unique and the way they had it set up for a cocktail hour, plated meal service and dance afterward was superb. The staff was very friendly and very good at their jobs. All in all, if you have a smallish party to plan and want a very cool space to do it in this should be first on your list to check out.
  • They always have very interesting events that are a fun way to learn about Canadian history. The gardens are one of our favourite places to go to in the summer for a picnic or to just hang out with our dog. The restaurant at the museum has really good options for brunch and the store has cute vintage items for the kitchen and house in general
  • Could use more flowers or hedges than just grass. The area is a bit off being surrounded by apartment complexes.
