  • Great for BBQ, long walk and swimming or just to spend some time with the loved ones or to just read a book.

  • So nice having such a great park so close. Not as good as the mountains of course but much closer. I really enjoy the singletrack trails they added a few years ago. They range in difficulty from easy to advanced. Also there are ample paved and shale trails to enjoy. As of this past spring I believe they have now fully recovered from the 2013 flood which is great.
  • A beautiful place for a hike or still. The scenery is fantastic, especially in autumn. The pathways are well maintained and there is ample parking. There is also a swimming hole that's great!
  • Great inner city park. Lots of trails for walking, cycling, etc. Fun for all ages, well maintained and a good place for an afternoon of walking or a picnic. There are picnic areas as well as a few restaurants. The art walk area by the Ranch restaurant is well worth checking out too. This is a large park, with many access points, so you could go 3 or 4 times to different areas and never walk the same trail twice.
  • Don't be parents that let their children go their whole lives not realising how great this park is like mine did. Wonderful place for picnics, walks, runs, and the best selection of sanctioned single track mountain biking in the city. Also a new pump track/skills bike park just built.
  • This park is MASSIVE. Almost unbelievably so. A huge variation of sights and terrain. Just an incredible landmark of Canadian parks. Highly recommend exploring this beautiful piece of land.
