  • Unusual place with beautiful plantings, there is even a Berry that you can pick and eat. I advise all.

  • To me this is a therapeutic garden, because it's indoor and warm, with soft music playing in the background.
  • I'm sure there were good intentions with the renovation, however it was nicer the layout before. It is mostly green and before it was green and with flowers. Yet I still like to come here because you ...  more »

  • it's closed right now for upgrade but this place is awesome. .they had turtles. .so cool lots of foliage tropical trees..very nice to get away from the rat race..I used to bring my child here now I bring his children. they can't wait for it to reopen.
  • Wonderful place! It's a huge tropical garden on top of the shopping mall, but you neither see nor hear the mall. It's a fun place for children and adults, definitely one of the highlights of Calgary. I highly recommend it. And there is no better escape than this from bad weather, especially if you are hungry, because next to the tropical gardens there is a decent food court.
  • I love to eat here whenever I go downtown. The gardens are nice to walk through and explore. It's cool how they grow so many tropical plants there. If your in the area, I would suggest you go check it out
  • I'm giving it 5 stars because I've been there before and know how awesome it was... It was closed at the time I was visiting the city. Next time
  • Devonian foodcourt would be a better description. Its basically just that, an extension of the food court now. The plants and surroundings are plasticky and sterile looking with no turles or big koi, waterfalls, sculptures, art, etc., all the good things that made it so special are gone. Anyone who remembers the original Devonian Gardens knows who beautiful it once was, very organic, with each quadrant having its own feel and look while still having common attributes. That's all gone now replaced an ugly open concept. Even the kids playground looks abrasive with its harsh, primary colours. After seeing the "reno's" when they were done, I never went back again.
