  • While we're not much for gambling, we visit this casino often to see musical acts such as Blue Oyster Cult & Big Sugar. The acoustics are decent and the service is prompt. The buffets are also worth c...  more »
  • Deerfoot is easy to get to and the parking is great. Food and beverage is a bit high. Hotel has nice decor and not bad pricing depending the time of the year. The service is up and down. Servers are u...  more »

  • My company had our Christmas party here. The food and the service were excellent. I opted to get a room for the night. The room was very comfy and after a few drinks at the Christmas party I really appreciated the complimentary bottle of water left on the night stand. My girlfriend loved the no fog bathroom mirror for getting ready!
  • The buffet food was amazing, everything about it, especially the meat. The prime rib you could cut with a fork. Than there is the Turkey, I am usually always afraid to try Turkey because I usually find it's dry, but the Turkey they cooked here was by far the best Md so moist turkey I have ever had, and again, this was at the hotel buffet, I have been to many company Xmas parties over the years at a hand full of different hotel banquet halls, and the food was never this good. I highly recommend
  • The dinning in this casino is not what I imagine a casino to have, they use pre fab burgers, lunch meats vs real meats like turkey or ham in their sandwich's, packaged over salted gravy, frozen french fries and yet charge you WAY more than most restaurants that make their actual food do...I would have thought they want people to come dine here so they gamble but I guess not. the only reason they get 2 stars vs 1 is the decor is not that bad. The drinks are grossly overpriced and the staff are pretty rude, half of them do not even speak English so asking for something is somewhat of a challenge....This is a very very expensive place to have fun, never mind the amount you lose to gambling but if you want a beverage (even fountain pop is very pricey) or dinner expect to drop ALLOT of money, really not that great of value to draw me back.
  • Nice size casino with friendly staff. There's plenty of slot machines and various tables on offer. I ate in the cafe and they had a great bacon and egg roll. The shepherds pie wasn't bad either.
  • Stayed here for one night with the family. One thing I have to say is the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Check in was a breeze as with check out. The pool was nice and wasn't busy when we were there. There is a kiddie pool and a few hot tubs. Also a water slide. Access is via the lobby but there is a change room with lockers, just bring you own lock. Pool is open till midnight, which was nice. The room was a standard king size with a pull out bed. It fit 2 adults and 3 kids. It was a clean room, in room fridge and Keurig coffee maker. Walls seem pretty sound proofed. Decor is a bit on the dated side, but overall felt relaxing. Dinner at the Mo she grill was excellent. Food was prepared and presented very beautifully. Service was also exceptionally friendly, especially to my kids. In the end we were able to thank the chef as well. I would recommend this hotel.

Where to stay in Calgary

South of the river is where most of the action happens in Calgary, and that's where you'll find the best selection of places to stay. Downtown, the central neighborhood located on the river's southern bank offers the widest range of choices, with access to several of the city's major metro stations a big plus. For arts, nightlife, and quality of living, go to The Beltine, known for its cafes, restaurants, arts, and entertainment. If you're just visiting the city briefly but want access to onward transport links, choose accommodations located close to the city's international airport.
