  • This place has a nice balance between food kiosks, arts/craft artisans and misc. sales booths. On top of that there is a huge selection of fresh vegetables, meats and special food products. We quite i...  read more »

  • Perfect place to please a crowd with several "restaurant" options. Tonnes of parking, all unique food stalls, many ethnic and mom-and-pop shops. Your biggest issue will be choosing. The latest meal I ...  read more »
  • This is my go-to Farmers Market, particularly in the summer when the outdoor market opens, tons of fresh farmed produce to choose from! Also, because this market also has a bit more charm, less commercial-y vibe compared to Calgary Farmers Market. Other honorable mentions are the honey guy, but from him all the time. The fresh bison shops, the corn chip guy that sells those insanely addictive chips. Another favorite, is the Ukrainian food spot in the food court, love those cabbage rolls!
  • Great local produce seasonally & loads of meats that are better quality than you'll find in supermarkets. What really makes this place stand out is the boutique stores and flea market. Comics, video games, locally made leather goods, herbal remedies, you name it, it's here. There's also some really great food vendors. Seek out the ramen and creme brulee, you won't regret it. Crossroads can get crowded on weekend afternoons (not always a bad thing) so if you want to avoid crowds go on Friday.
  • My fav market in Calgary. I like the combination of food and goods vendors. My favorite places are Chongo's Market (great selection of produce and they make a very good in-house Bruchetta and Salsa) and the Toy Shop (massive amount of cool pop-culture collectables in this little shop)
  • I love the Turkish market... They have the best breads and bureka... There is also lots of variety of different vendors of healthy pre-made foods..
  • There are really good produce here in the summer and fall, quality that beats any grocery store and often at a better price. In the off season it's a grocery store with a few butcher shops and bakeries. And tonnes of weird stores selling stuff that most people will never need.
