  • Loved to just walk the halls in the Core, but got no shopping done. Felt way more comfortable going to the Chinook Centre. It is a nice atmosphere for a stroll.
  • Visited Calgary and HAD to go shopping. The Core was within walking distance of the hotel so off i went. This is an awsome mall visually, stories high, full of many many high end stores, I enjoyed mys...  read more »
  • Popped in mid afternoon on Saturday and found the Core mall pretty quiet. Not sure if it was the economy, the day or both. I suspect that it is much busier on weekdays as it's surrounded by office tow...  read more »
  • A shopping experience that is comprehensive without being overwhelming. Inoffensive, timeless decor centres around a great arched glass ceiling, and immersive gardens on the top level (which weren't open when we visited). A central location in the tourist/central business district makes it an easy stop along the way.
  • The mall itself looks great. The washrooms are all up in the food court though which can be slightly out of the way. I like the shop selection they offer. It's very versatile. Offers selections from low-high.
  • This place looks beautiful! (in the food court...) this is a really really really good hang out place!! there is lots of food at the food court! (duh!) there is also a HMV and some other stores (i kinda forgot some)
  • Some of the most premium stores in Calgary with some of the most premium staff, including a Harry Rosen that will have you walking out of the store with a $5000 suit every time, a Nordstrom's, and a large array of boutiques only found here in Calgary. The food options are also quite unique and some of the best in Calgary. The Koryo is a personal favorite, and something I will walk a few blocks to, just to eat (it's some of the fastest and most delicious Korean in town.) Being downtown is the only downside, as calgary downtown is expensive to park in and a pain to traverse sometimes. The best way to get here is to take the C-Train to 3rd street station.
  • Classy shops of selection. One of my favorites is the drug store and the café on ground floor. Food court on 4th floor offers quick cuisines of multicultural options though the "chef" might look alike. People there are super friendly and helpful! The restrooms are all up on 4th floor, which is a bit out of way. Besides, you can enter the mall from doors around the building, which I found it confusing.
