  • One of the best parks in the Calgary system. You have several trails to choose from, and easy access to the Bow River
  • This is a beautiful area to walk and enjoy the birds and nature. We saw so many pelicans it was amazing!
  • All very beautiful, immaculate. The Park is good at any time of the year. A great place for families or independent trips.

  • Great park to visit with family or friends. It's a nice easy walk around 2 ponds and connects to the bike/walking path system. There are some picnic benches if you want to sit down and eat. There are restrooms as well. In the summer you can bring a canoe, kayak or stand up paddle board and go on either of the ponds. It's also a great place to bird watch / nature watch with owls, woodpeckers, deer and beavers that are all easily seen. In the winter they transform one of the ponds to an ice rink. It's a great way to spend an afternoon or evening with kids and friends.
  • Spent a good hour with friends here for a leisure walk. Saw different birds and deer. A great park in the city.
  • It's good for a casual walk, as it has a paved pathway. It also has a few dirt paths. The ponds are good for kayaking and canoeing, but don't fall in (lots of ducks and geese live here). The terrain is mostly flat, so don't expect a hike (obviously). Deerfoot is right across the river, so you'll hear a bit of road noise.
  • It is stunning here. Beautiful to take a walk enjoy nature.
  • Fantastic for a relaxing walk or getting some exercise. Always stunning and I've seen wildlife everytime I've gone. Great for off path biking, equiped with hills, looks pretty sweet, though I haven't biked it myself.
