Observation Deck Tourist Spot
Take in the epic sprawl of the city from the lofty vantage point of Calgary Tower, a 191 m (626 ft) spire with a viewing platform perched on top. Enjoy fine dining in the tower’s admittedly pricey revolving restaurant, or head straight for the observation deck to step on the glass floor and enjoy sweeping views of the city. Consider getting up to the top on a clear afternoon to witness a stunning sunset. • On our last evening in Calgary, we stopped by the Calgary Tower to take in one last time the view of this wonderful city. Under a blue sky, we could see the Rockies in the West, some of the building a...  more »
  • One of the must visit point in Calgary! The best way is to have lunch or dinner up to the top restaurant, their prices are very reasonable, also included the ticket to go up to the top of the tower.  more »
  • This was a great visit, you can take a guide up with you if you want or just go yourself. Fantastic views with a gift shop upstairs and downstairs. Very reasonably priced as well.  more »

  • Superb views amazing photos. Hope they can enlarge this incredible place and the beautiful city of Calgary. Such an incredible place that can go to the most amazing smart city in North America. It captured my imagination the minute I saw it. Love it
  • Here from L.A. for a week. Spent an hour in the observation tower - well worth it for us. Sunday had delicious prime rib dinner at tower. For USians with strong US dollar, cocktails and big prime rib dinner with view an excellent value(elevator to observation $18.00 is free). Waiter (from Hungary) was super friendly and helpful. YMMV.
  • This review is for the Calgary Tower experience and not Sky 360, the revolving restaurant at the top of the tower. Adult admission is $18 CAD. It is nice to come during the evening or near to closing time as there aren't many people. There is only a small portion of the tower which you can actually look down at the view below. You would probably only spend about 15 minutes up there unless you're listening to the audio guide. If you have never been in a tower before with the ability to view down, this might be worth it. Otherwise, I would probably save my money and pass on it.
  • Another review said "classy but not snobbish". I don't think I can come up with a better description. Don't ruin it for yourself by comparing to other rotating restaurants in the world, but this is a great Calgary experience. The food is well thought out and the staff are very friendly. Gave the biggest service tip of my life here so that should say something (though i'm not sure if it was the wine, the company i was trying to impress, the friendly wait staff or all of the above).
  • It's a rotating restaurant! Holy moly! But before we dive into "Oh my gosh it moves!" I have to tell you: The cuisine is downhill. It is stale and took forever to make and expensive. The only reason I'm giving this place there stars is because of how kind the staff were. They have amazing staff and they must be very proud. The staff were patient and happy to serve. It's a good experience, I guess. And I am a positive person, so it might actually not be. I wouldn't pick the Tower as something to do on grad day or a wedding, but I would go there again.
