  • If you're a photographer or thrill seeker, head out here at night during the winter. If you're coming from the walkway bridge from town, keeping walking towards the Bow River, go pass the stairs (pass under the sign) and you'll find yourself some peace and quiet with mother nature. You'll just have a beautiful view of Mt Rundle and the sounds of the river. You may even spot some shooting stars.
  • The great river that passes through our fair city. Always beautiful.
  • Nice and quiet, well kept.
  • Beautifully designed by God - congratulations!
  • Tons of great places to fish. Great running trails. Always benches and rest areas. There's rollerblading, hiking, skateboarding, longboarding, and all kinds of other activities that you can pursue on this area of Calgary. I've even been all the way up to the source of the Bow River which is the bow glacier outside of Bow Lake. Halfway between Lake Louise and Jasper, you can hike up to a Hidden Lake in behind the mountains to wear the Bow River starts. It's fed by a glacier. You can find this area by looking up num-ti-jah Lodge online. The large is a great place to rest for a night while you hike up to the Bow's Source. A must-do for all avid hiking Canadians and Calgarians alike.
