  • A great place to walk, enjoy nature and the seabirds. Also can rent paddleboats in the summer. Many trails for all abilities.
  • Bring your family, go for a walk and breathe lots of fresh air. On your way out, you can also go to the Burnaby Village museum, which is very close, free and worth visiting.
  • A beautiful Lake, surrounded by easy walkways, wooded areas and parkland. Safe and secure in nature, away from the hustle and bustle of Vancouver city, yet within easy reach of affordable transportati...  more »

  • Great place to unwind. I love The Park. I come here everyday. Amazing scenery, peace n quiet amongst the hustle n bustle of a beautiful town.
  • I come to this place to do photoshoots with tall grass/field feel to them. If you're comming midday or on a hot day pack some water. Kinda windy at times so bring sandbags for your nightstands and make sure your stands are tight enough that they don't swivel.
  • 1) This park is situated nearby Shadbolt Centre for the arts 2) Possible activities: walking, running, canoeing, boating, BBQ 3) Pets not allowed in the beach or picnic area 4) Park is well maintained and very peaceful
  • I've been coming here all my life. The park has changed a fair amount over the years. It is a great place for a local walk/hike as there are many different trails around the lake.
  • Nice family-friendly park. We went paddle boating and it was quite affordable. The lake is scenic and peaceful. Staff were helpful and friendly.
