This is a great place to visit in the winter if it snows or is foggie. Especially for children. It is also a great place in summer. The view is fantastic.

Burnaby mountain is well known for the amazing views but it offers a really good intermediate hiking trail with lots of ups and downs that Will get the blood pumping.
Great views without having to go to Cyprus or Seymour. We recently watched the meteor shower from here while relaxing against the totem poles. Lots of bike paths and walkable areas as well as a small flower garden. The new Horizon's restaurant gets a little noisy when there's a party though so don't expect a quiet night on the weekends.
What a wonderful park with year round views of Vancouver & Burnaby as well as up the Inlet towards Deep Cove. This is a fantastic year round park with: a restaurant, a concession stand, public washrooms, a rose garden & various seasonal plantings, a playground, park benches, walking paths, a collection of Japanese Indigenous totems, and plenty of parking!! A wonderful outing for young & old alike!!
Great place to take out of town visitors for views of Vancouver; best if you climb the hill and watch the sunset. On the right night it is an amazing show of colours. Bring bug spray as they start biting the minute it gets dark.

Love this place. The view of the valley from here is remarkable. Plenty of parking space and open fields for kids to run around.
A place where you can watch the sunset. Good at any time of the year. Well equipped parking, few spots to make good pictures, playground for kids, restaurant, etc.
