Took the grandkids here for a little beach time. The two oldest live in Northern BC and never get to the ocean but go to lakes so the salt water was new to them. They weren't swimming, just exploring ...  more »

Not the greatest sandy beach, but a great spot to explore, turn over rocks, count the starfish, etc. The remnants of the old sawmill are really cool. Good kayaking spot, but be wary of the insane boat...  more »

Amazing park. I was so surprised at this hidden gem tucked away in our backyard. It had so much green space, picnicking areas and general walking areas. There is also so much water access and the views are amazing. It is great to get away here and enjoy the insights into nature that it offers. On top of that, there is significant historical significance related to this park which is interesting to piece together once you get there. A lot of open space, a lot of opportunities to explore and enjoy the nature this park offers. Would be great for events and for dates :)

It's a nice fairly isolated place to have a peaceful social gathering with nature. As a photographer, it screams plentiful ideas. Don't plan on stay here late because it closes early evening(until 8pm I believe, do double check that). Other than that, have at it! It's a nicely shaded place! I would recommend this to anybody.

This place sucks. Like all other places not dog friendly at all. Dog owners get to bring dogs off leash only during morning or night in winter....thats great. You can bring your dog on leash...but even then people tell you to leave cause they don't like dogs. How about making an area for dog owners. Even the picnic area is completely off limit to dogs. What a joke.

Nice dog friendly park. Not as busy as most the other beach/water front parks in the area. We just grab a spot on the grass and relax.

Awesome water access. Dog and non dog areas. Can walk along water. Very relaxing. Parking is very difficult on weekends afternoons.
