  • Great marina. Has a boat club that is friendly and affordable for the average person. Learn to sail. Great summer camp sailing school for the kids and adults too.
  • A fantastic place to exercise, walk your dog, or simply enjoy the quiet tranquility of nature. My personal favourite area is the lakefront path that offers multiple "windows to the lake" with benches looking out over the water. Just don't get too close to the trumpeter swans on the beachy area of the park, they're quite territorial/protective of their families.
  • Great park. Very well maintained with a good park for kids. You're able to hand feed birds, squirrels, chipmunks, geese, all along the lake side trail there so bring seeds and unsalted peanuts.
  • Great play structures; sand, pea gravel and rubberized bases; clean bathrooms; lots of parking; lots of open space; plenty of picnic tables; pay to enter wading pool and splash area.
  • Nice little spot for fishing when there isn't to much boat traffic. Didn't catch anything which is typical but a good spot for some casual fishing and boat watching and a walk along the water.
