  • A very well put together mine museum with excellent guide and worthwhile trip into the depths of the mine. Everything is there including the massive crushing mill which is like an industrial cathedral...  read more »
  • I've been to the mine museum multiple times and it keeps me coming back. Today I went with my 6 year old boy and 3 year old girl, and all three of us loved it. The tour of the old mine shaft was aweso...  read more »
  • My kids ask to go here whenever we pass it on the way up to Squamish. They love the rail car ride & tour, and the gold panning. They've got lots of great historical info, and items on display. Great to hear that the government has cleaned up the environment from the previous mining operation. It's a little pricey (~$90 family of four) so it may be a little while before our 4th visit.
  • The place is full of attractions for kids and adults. Tickets are free for pre-schoolers, around $30 for adults (check the website). Ensure to take some closed shoes and warm stuff as it is somewhat wet and coldish underground.
  • Interesting museum located on the super scenic Hwy 99. Beautiful settings and very informative movie before visiting the mine. Lovely place to go!
  • The tour guide was amazing and charismatic - my 7 & 4 year old were enamored with the mines and we all walked away with a greater understanding of how mining works. It is still the "best day" my 7 year old has had, and it's all he talks about. I rather enjoyed it and highly recommend this, even for parents with small kids!
  • It was ok. A one time visit kind of thing. The mine tour is very brief but still interesting.
