  • Presqu'ile is an outstanding provincial park. It doesn't have the big sand dunes like Sandbanks but the water is clear for swimming. Lots of camping in either wooded areas or open grass fields. Best p...  more »
  • This park has so much to offer that it will take several trips to see it all. The park is clean, staff is friendly and the biking and hiking are the best around. By far one of our favourite parks.

  • Had a great day visit this summer. Beach is beautiful. Kids loved jumping in the waves. Good for families. Shallow, sand bar type beach, you can walk out really far and still be only about waist deep. Nice and flat to bike. Great for overnight camping or just a day visit.
  • We camp here almost every year for a week. Excellent place for camping. Sites are a great size and most have wind and sun coverage as well as lots of privacy. Both beaches are great for soaking up sun or going for a dip. Lots of historical monuments and buildings to visit and see. Lots of nature walks. trails and boardwalks providing excellent information.
  • Great park. Nice beaches. The boardwalk trail is definitely something to check out it you're interested in nature at all. There's a lot of history here.
  • Two stars. My group and I were sitting around the campfire minding our own business with a guitar, and a ranger came and threatened to fine us if we didn't stop right away. We stopped, however the rangers came to our campsite about every 30-40 minutes to see that our guitar was away, even though we understood fully well her request and we obviously did not want a fine. I felt uncomfortable with the ranger coming to bother us periodically and I didn't enjoy my stay due to that.
  • This park is a good location for Torontonians who want to experience nature, but don't want to drive too far out of the City. The car camping locations are sometime close together, but the facilities are kept in pretty good order. This is not the best or most interesting provincial park that I have been too, as it really only has a rock beach and moderate hiking trails. The park staff were friendly, though, and if you want to grab supplies last minute Brighton is 5-10 km out from the park
