  • This is a fun place for a weekend picnic with a larger group, they have tables and fire pits, you will want to show up early especially on a weekend as the place fills up quick but at just under 30 minutes from west Calgary it's a great place to spend a sunny weekend day. Depending on where you live it may literally take less time to get here than elsewhere in Calgary.
  • Nice view of nature that is not too far of a drive from Calgary. It usually takes us 40min to drive there and it's just enough of a distance from the city but still close to nature where you can enjoy the scenery
  • Beautiful views. Many places to fish, hike and explore the great outdoors. I love the ice cream shops there. You can choose which one you prefer.
  • Natural explosion near Calgary (be outdooors)
  • An amazing day trip from Calgary!
